Center Rog Creative Hub

We are building a creative environment that supports innovative projects aimed at meeting the challenges brought by the 21st century. The Rog Centre will be opened to the public in the summer of 2023.

The Rog factory, which produced the cult-like Rog bicycles, is today the most important piece of 20th-century industrial heritage in Ljubljana. Thanks to both the way it is being restored and the programme of the Rog Centre, its original function is to be retained, yet revamped for the 21st century: serving as a public space for the production of cultural and creative industries, with stress on fabrication, applied arts and design.

The Rog Centre, a public institute established by the City of Ljubljana in May 2021, is a universally accessible creative hub with programmes seeking to transcend the split between high and popular culture. It offers almost 9,000 m2 of creative space along with related programmes, and a new 8,000 m2 park available for citizens’ daily use and public events.
